In 1971 GM only used Rochester designed carburetors. They were both 2 bbl and 4 bbl carburetors. Easy to see the difference by looking at it.
The CFM rating system for 2bbl and 4 bbl is not the same. The 2bbl can be as small as 225 cfm and as large as 435 cfm. The 4bbl Quadrajet was 750 cfm accept for rare versions that were 800 cfm.
