'71 side view mirrors

I tried posting this earlier, but it did not seem to go through, so trying again.
I would like to replace the "bullet" style, body colored side mirrors on my '71 Sport convertible with larger mirrors for a better view. Has anyone done this?
Any recommendations for a larger mirror? Maybe from a newer car? Your thoughts greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I have never run across anybody doing that. Only modification I have seen is gluing a convex mirror to the passenger side to increase the field of view.
In addition to adjust the drivers side mirror for a better view of the blind spot, tilt your head towards the left almost touching the window and adjust the mirror so that you barely see the edge of the rear 1/4 panel.
