'72 "FASTEN SEAT BELTS" Light & Buzzer

Does anyone know how I might fix this system in my car, or how I would go about diagnosing the problem? My car seems to be equipped for it: The light doesn't illuminate and the buzzer doesn't buzz whenever I'm not in "Park".

I found this taped underneath the dash:
Which as that PDF specifies has Black-Pink, Orange and Black wires. I can't seem to find where this plug in, though.

maybe its the picture but isnt that the buzzer with wires already connected to it? the pink wire should be hot when tested with a voltmeter or test light

That plug has three contacts, and the length of the wires is short.

The early seat belt warnings systems were despised by owners and it is quite common to find them disconnected. My guess is that someone removed the buzzer to disable the system.

So I've heard. However, the light doesn't even come on, which according to the PDF is connected using the black wire on the plug. Do you know of anyone else who owns a '71-'73 maybe even '74 model that could check and see?

I know of no one who has that system and 74 was different. If you apply power to the black wire and their is a good bulb in the dash it should light up.
