Hi all, I have a 72 luxury lemans and I am trying to replace the original in-dash clock with a tachometer. The clock doesnt work, so I have no use for it and would rather have a tach in its place. I'm having trouble taking the front dash plate out, and am wondering how to remove this piece so I can remove and replace the clock. thanks!

I installed a tach in my GTO which just had the blank plate. I did not disassemble the dash. You drop the air condition duct and assuming you have relatively small hands remove the 3 screws that hold in the clock.
