i have a 2001 grand am gt. while driving down the highway it begins to vibrate the steering wheel at 75mph and continues from there. the wheel bearings are fine and the tires are aligned and ballanced. could it be a suspension bushing going bad? if anyone else has had this problem please help!!

Have the outer tie rods and the lower control arm bushings checked. Both are common problems with this body style. I'm betting on a bad outer.

wobbly wheels

I am having a similar problem with my 2003 gt. I have those Good year RSA tires on it and after reading many bad posts I believe that it is tires. My car is at the dealer right now getting fitted with 4 new tiires as we speak. I hope like hell he doesn't put on those rsa's or else he may just be replicating the problem. Wheel balancing and front end is tight so I admit or just hope that is my problem.
