I have a 1976 trans am bored 30 over with a oversized cam.Running a stock carb, when I go to take off the car has a stall. What can I do.

First check the accelerator pump in the carb. With the engine off and the air cleaner removed and the choke fully open, see if gas squirts out of the nozzles on the primary side of the carburetor when you move the throttle linkage. On a Quadrajet you should see a sizeable amount on both sides.

Yea its getting gas, it only stumbles when I first punch on the accelarator then it will clear out. It doesnt do it when its in park, only when the car is in drive. Thanks Please help

How many miles since a basic tuneup of plugs, fuel filter, air filter, etc? Have you checked the cap and rotor for burnt contacts? What is your initial timing set for? did you check for a vacuum leak?
