hi guys. I am gathering parts to swap my 76 Camaro from a auto to a manual car. I know Camaro but read on please. I picked up a super t10 that was originally from a 76 firbird. I found a factory hurst stick for it and would like to use it cause it looks much cooler than the plain Camaro handle. as you can see from my pics the hurst arm is a tad longer and bigger where it goes into shifter mechanism. I have an itm model. how can I fit hurst handle into itm sleeve. grind it down then bolt it in? did the firebird use a hurst shifter and not a itm or do I have a wrong year handle. check my pics. I am confused and nobody knows the answer so far. my wife owned a 76 esprit and it had this stick with the 400. wish we still had it.
