76 trans am headlight conversion harness to 77

Im just bought a 76 trans am and was wondering if the headlight harness from a 77 plugs up and works. I'm changing over the front cover and all the pieces to a 77. I've looked all over and cant source the information.

this company makes reproduction front lamp harness's. They list two different numbers for 76 and 77.

I am sure they are 2 different P/N's for those years as a 76 FB has 2 large round headlights, and a 77 FB uses 4 smaller rectangular head lights. I suspect it would just be easier to replace the 40+ year old wiring harness with a new repo 77 harness for the $230 cost. Without looking at the 2 year's wiring diagrams I can not tell you how they split the wires to the 2 different head light set ups.

They same P/N headlight switch is used for both years, but the dash harness's differ between the years.
