Hi all, first day on site. I know its a unicorn, but anyone have a lead on red led am/fm/8T for 79TATA? Gotta be one out there given nobody kept radios stock in the 80's! Thx.

Ebay seems to have quite a few.

Same as the Cadillac ones of the same era...CB ones are hard and expensive to find and the red lighted Silver Trans Am Anniversary ones.

Thanks folks. Scouring ebay every day, the Sellers there saying Red LED is unobtanium. I'm trying all resources, there actually was someone on this site who posted about a year ago he had one but he hasn't responded to me.

Please explain what is special about red LED?
Is that that the only difference and wouldn't it be replaceable?

That's what I'm thinking but apparently the only fix is to find an oem led unit, but can't believe this isn't available somewhere. Gotta find an electronics guru I guess.
