I have a new to me 85 Fiero. It burns gas smoke when I first start it up, and when I drive for a while and its good and warmed up it will chug. It seems like its missing. I know all the normal things to check on a normal car, but it seems a Fiero is no normal car. Any info if this is a typical issue would be appreciated.

Troubleshooting on this car should be no different than a normal car. Tune, up clean the throttle body and iac would be the first things to check.
