quick question. have you actually gotten out of the car and checked to see if the blinker itself is going? If it is then it's probably the fuse, if not it could be some wiring issues, if the hazards are still going. there's other things that it could be as well but I'd shoot for the fuse first.

ive changed the fuses and yes ive been out of the car it just lights up but does not flash i was thinking flashing unit but the hazards do flash

let me talk to my buddy tonight and see what he has to say. He's not to automotively inclind as far as mechanics are concerned but electrical is a cake walk for him.

ok im pretty sure its a flasher but i want some more advice also were is the flasher and were can i get a new one and how much. know any one that understands flip up lights ive never had them b4 and the motors dont stop even when the cars off so i just pulled the orders

The Fiero has two flasher relays. One for the hazards and one for the turn signals.
The way it is set up is there are two relays that go to the switch assembly. If I recall both sit behind the fuse panel up on the wall. Left one should be turn and right one is for hazards.

If you have reverse lights the fuse is good. The Fiero is wired so that one fuse is for turn signals and reverse lights.

It is wired from fuse to turn signal relay with a dark blue wire. Then a purple wire comes out of the relay and goes to the switch assembly.

For a schematic you can download the 84-88 Haynes Manual for Fiero's here:

and page 289 has the schematic.
