#1 left headlight will not pop up unless you touch the manual knob then it take off and spins up with problem, or after shutting them down I can turn the knob half a turn and then it will work next time I need them.

#2 car has a steady surging while driving and once in a while if you step on it from a stop it will almost die and then take off? new wires,plugs,dist,and tps nothing changed

gears in headlight might need replaced. and is it auto or manual? how does it idle?

Headlight problem is dirty contacts in the headlight motor. You will need to open the motor by drilling out the rivots. Some folks will use small screws and nuts to reassemble and some will put in new rivots. Once opened you will see the contacts on the top and bottom edge. Clean them with some fine sandpaper.

The hesitation could be many things. A vacuum leak is the most common problem.

Thanks for the info,brushes were dirty (light fixed),its a auto and idles fine, and runs great except when try to take off from a stop,unless i push slowly on the pedal?
