I'm a 16fat year old and I just got an 87appointment Pontiac fiero gt. I was wondering wat some cheap things are that I could do to make the car perform better. The car is already in great condition and has 59,000 original miles on the engine.

Some inexpesive things to do is port out the exhaust manifolds. If you take them off and look inside you will see they have oval holes. Have the outside of the ports welded (GM welded them on the inside0 Then take a dremel tool and make the holes bigger on the inside. good for about a 5 hp gain.
Change the air filter to a K&N.
The Fiero Store ( www.fierostore.com ) sells a ported throttlebody. Stock is 52mm and they sell a 55mm. With the porting of the exhaust manifolds makes a very good improvement.
