My son's 1987 Pontiac Firebird is running so rich that it is using allot of gas and even stains the driveway from the exhaust. It also jerks allot when between 2500 & 3000 RPM. We have already replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, oxygen sensor, throttle position sensor, spark plugs, and air filter. We also checked the timing and it is set correctly. Any ideas???
The engine is a 2.8 with multiport fuel injection.
