firebird? i have a 1987 firebird. its a v6 2.8 and someone put toothpicks in the locks. is there a way to get them out. do you have to take off the door panels? if so how do you go about doing that without bringing it into the shop?
we have tried removing them with picks and paper clips everything and we just push them back.

U need a set of Dental picks - even used them 2 remove broken keys..

Unfortunatly you will probably need to remove the lock cylinders and have them either dissasembled or replaced once there is something inside the locks cover it's impossible to get it out without dissasembly , the cover is designed to close when the key is out ..
so to access the internal parts it has to be taken apart..
sorry No other way to it ...
