88 firebird help

I have a 88 formula that is running rough. I starts and idles fine but when I try to give it fuel it acts as if it is starving for fuel if I put it in neutral and shut the car off then turn it right back on it will run fine for a couple miles and then it does it again. I have changed the fuel pump the fuel filters rebuilt the throttle body. What else can I do to make it run again?

Do you get a check engine light? if so, what are the codes? Sounds like a throttle position sensor.

No, no check engine light I have taken it down to have it diagnosed and there is nothing coming back as being wrong with it.

Is your exhaust extreemly hot? If so my have your catalatyc converters clogged.
