91 Firebird 3.1l v6, overheated on highway to 260 degrees and up and mass amounts of white smoke came out of engine, popped the hood and smoke coming out of block and absolutely bone dry on coolant and oil now, filled it up the day before hand, Coolant and oil all over inside engine compartment of car, the car has only 80000 miles on it and was just looked at for stalling problems 1 month ago and replaced ecu which fixed problem, the car isnt making a rapping or tapping noise at all which is why i dont think it could be the engine but worrys me that its bone dry and there was smoke coming from block.. what could this be, any ideas???

what could this be?

well, in layman's terms:

a blown engine

white smoke = coolant

when coolant disappears that quickly, and white smoke is involved, something like a blown head gasket or cracked head is most likely the cause. thats a major problem. Oil disappearing quickly is a real red flag, it sounds like its time to look for a new engine. If the engine has ran without oil and got hot up to 260 degrees, the heads probably warped from the heat, even if you did fix the water problem, not to mention possible scored cylinder walls.

lol...oh, and for tinkingc, firebird is pontiac, not ford

If it got hot and puked all the oil and coolant, your engine is done for.

When coolant gets on a hot engine block, it burns off, making thick white smoke, i had this problem rebuilding the motor in my dodge, coolant on the engine block? White smoke,.
