Hey, just curios if anyone has any problems with their sunbird once it gets to temp? Got the car about a week ago drove 2hrs home and it was great then went inside quick , hopped back in the car and took off and 5 mins later shuts off while accelerating and then would not start till it cooled off. Yes , Coolant and oil levels were good, and from what I’ve diagnosed no vacuum leaks or fuel leaks. Since then I have:
- oil change
-Ran fuel cleaner through engine
-new spark plugs
-new crankshaft position sensor
-new coil packs
-new o2 sensor
-new starter
- fuel pump works
Fuel pressure reads 43psi
All spark plug wires work
And with all that it still has the same problem it will also start hunting at low rpms, got a mean chop
but yea any advice would be great thanks
