94 sunbird convertible manually put the top down

Hello

I don’t want to sound to dumb, but I've search all over the net and off. To find out how to manually put the top down on my 94 sunbird convertible, and could find nothing. I was hoping that some one here knows how? And wouldn't mind telling me step by step, sorry never owned a convertible before. Is there some sort of guide that explains the parts and functions of the top and how each part works?

I assume you have no owners manual? Isnt there a latch on the top of the windshield to unlock the top? No switch anywhere to lower the top, I believe it is a hydraulic mechanism for that year?
