95 Pontiac Grand AM SE

Just a quick question.

Lookin to purchase some wheels. And have come across quite a few stock Subaru WRX wheels for cheap.
I know that my Grand AM wheels are 5x100 16x6 with a 35 mm offset.
I have 205 55 16 tires.
I also know that those tires will fit a the wrx stock wheels that are 16x7 and 5x100. But however I am not sure if the offset on the WRX stock wheels will fit correctly if I put them on my Pontiac.

Just to reiterate: both wheels are 5x100 and both are the same diameter. Does anyone know basically if stock wrx rims have a larger offset? and if they do will it matter on my car?

go to www.tirerack.com and look up the specs on a WRX wheel.

Thanks just as i presumed they are 45 -48 mm's. would that make a difference on my pontiac? im fairly certain the correct offset for my car is anywhere between 35-42mm's would an extra couple of mm's hurt my vehicle?

Can you try them without buying them? If not I wouldnt take the chance of the wheel hitting a brake caliper or other suspension part, get the correct wheels.
