96 Passenger Window

My passenger side window motor went out, the window is half up. For now I have it taped from the top of the window to the door frame. Today I took off the door panel to try to push the bottom of the window up, so it'll be stuck up cause up is better then down.

When I pushed up, it moved up about an inch then went back down when I let go. Is there an easy way to get the window up?

what i would do is to go to the junk yard and find the newest sunfire there and just remove the door panel and slowly remove the whole window system or just the motor if you can but i think that it is riveted in there so you will need to drill it out and just put bolts in there and you will be good. hope this helps

I found a website that sells window motors for 28.30 with free shipping, so I'd just go that route when I buy a new one.

But I just wanted to push it up in the meantime.
