I've done all the troubleshooting I could think of and the problem still persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are the steps I've taken so far.
-New oil pump
-5w-30 replaced with 10w-30
-New pressure sensor
-Machined crank shaft and replaced bearings

Now what? What did I miss?

Thanks

Suggest....

Add 1/2 can of Lucus Oil Treatment. Not the entire can (as suggested on its can). Only add 1/2 a can to small 4 calendar engine. If wondering, this makes store bought engine oil a little thicker. And, was told it does other great things as well. If wondering, my previous GM 3.4L engine had a cold engine ticking sounds. Added 1/2 can of Lucas oil treatment and its ticking sound was almost gone. Sounded like a near new engine again.

Hope this helps.

How low is low. 10 psi per 1000 rpm is enough. The cam bearings might be worn also. The top number of the 5-30 vs 10-30 is the same viscocity. Maybe try 10-40? Was the oil pump screen clear?

when tested hot idle @ 8-900rpm gave me almost zero psi on the gauge. At 3000rpm i was getting about 15 psi (if memory serves). Way too low. I'm going to try 10w-40 but after that it's time to use it as a trade for something newer. Yeah, the screen was clear every time I've checked it.
