I have a 97 firebird formula WS6 with exhaust headers and a K&N intake kit already. The two things I would like to add at this point are torsion bars and a performance chip. What are the best options/manufacturers for these two items?

Having someone tune the car is your best bet for performance. The suspension is struts and coil springs, no tortion bars needed.

Im not sure but maybe the original poster is referring to the bar you can attach under the hood from one strut tower to the other to reduce flexing of the front.

No, I mean the torque bars. Has anyone seen any improvement by replacing the factory torque bars with stiffer after market ones. Also what (in your opinion) is the best performance chip to use?

are you talking about the bar between the transmission and the rear suspension?
