97 Grand Am 2.4 - Hard Start Cold

Hello all..

1997 Grand Am GT 2.4 Quad 4

All sensors are within range, fresh tune-up. Extreamly hard start when cold.
Once its in my shop at 50deg. starts just fine.

Any ideas?

How new is the fuel filter? Did you test fuel pressure?

New fuel pump, new fuel filter just a couple of months ago.

This is only related to cold weather.. below 30 f.

I understand new fuel filter and pump but did you do a fuel pressure test?

There should be a service fitting that looks a lot like an air fitting on a tire, there's a tool you can buy that screws onto it to read pressure. Usually it's on the fuel rail.

I don't think the quads have a schrader valve for testing.
