97 L4 in a 99 swap

I have a 1997 le?,se?, 2.4L dohc L4, I would like to put that motor in a 1999 grand am se that has a 2.4L dohc L4(LD9) chassis, just wondering if anyone knows if it can be a direct swap or is the computer going to need to be changed or not. Any help, input would be greatly appreciated!

You would have to compare specs between the two years for any changes/differences. You also need to compare sensors including parameters. If there are no discernible differences a straight out swap may be possible.
