97' Pontiac Sunfire

I have a 97 Pontiac Sunfire Gt. A week ago my car stopped running. It would crank but then cut right off, No dashlights at all, stereo still worked & carlights. When I finally got it to the shop.They said it was the Ignition Switch & the computer. I got both fixed, the car was running fine until a couple days later. It did the same exact thing! When I took it back to the ppl that just fixed it they said now its reading Theft System, but saying they can't fix the problem , they dont know what's wrong ?! But no dashlights, cranks but cuts off same problem as before now idk what to do. Have anyone ever had this problem before? Does anyone know what can possibly be wrong?! This is my first car which bought it myself about 5 months ago. Soo im devastated

Did you speak to the owner of the shop? Do they have a state license to be in business as an auto repair shop? If so and they wont fix the problem call the state. They can research the problem with the anti-theft system the same way everybody else does, the internet. What exactly did they do with the computer? The computer has to recognize the key you are using are they aware of that?
