i dont really know whats going on but i just had my slave cylinder, clutch replaced. and now the car doesnt move. i try to go and it wont move. the cv axles do not move but they r still good. all my gears work. it goes in gear. when i try to move it just grinds. it almost feels like the clutch does engage. help me. im talking out of my ass i have no idea. any clue!!?
 
please help!! i can awnser your quetions to help
 
my pedal still works just fine tho. could air still cause my problem?

make sure nothing is in front of the car before doing this. With the engine off, place the car in first gear and attempt to start it, what happens?
 
starts fine doesnt move. just little grinding noise
 
if the car was really in 1st gear and you let up on the clutch it would either roll forward or stall, so if it didnt do either than you are not in gear. Not sure what you mean when you were asked about air in the system and responded that the peddle works fine, try bleeding it again. Why did you replace the slave to start with? How do you know you dont have a bad master or a bad line going to the slave?
 
my slave was just replaced not to long ago as well as the clutch. i can have it in any gear clutch all the way out doesnt stall or move just grinds a little. could there be air even tho my pedal is still fully there? im going to bleed it again tommrow and see it that works at all.

i replaced it cuz it went bad. driving down the road and my clutch pedal was gone. so i had a local mechanic replace it.
 
with the engine off can you place it in reverse and then start it? Did you contact the mechanic and ask him how he determined the problem was the slave as opposed to the master? Was the slave leaking? Did you check for a leak now? Did you check the fluid level in the master?
 
i could start it in reverse. i brought it in the shop today. nothing was leaking. levels where good. but my clutch fluid was real dirty. flushed it out already with new fluid
 
From your post I was under the impression the car didnt move all you got was a grinding noise. So how did you get it to the shop and what did the mechanic say the noise was from?
