Ok, lets start with what I have get that out of the way. 1999 firebird 3.8s2 auto tranny 162k miles not a leak or mechanical issue suprising I know.
question of the day, Will a 3.8s2 S/C motor 1. have the same trans bolt pattern and 2. will it fit under the hood. (clearence simular mounting ect.)
just wanna know if it will work other wise im gonna take harder route and just take the old f250(truck)5.8 motor and 5 speed trans i got laying around find me a 9in rear beef up the fuel, suspension, and breaks and call it a day. (mind you i have pretty much everything I need for both cases laying around and I am well off mechnically. just not in state atm to look over and messure for the 3.8s2S/C.) any awnsers, comments, remarks, or questions to help with this would be appreciated.
