Last week when my room mates brother in law drove me home from the hospital after and emergency appendicitis. We had to stop along the way and pick up my SUV. On the way home I saw that my passenger side brake light is out. I got a new bulb from Auto Zone but I can't figure out how to get the lens cover off. I looked for screws in the lens cover and found none. I also looked for a way in from the back side. There is no panel access to the back side of the bulb housing from inside behind the tailgate. I have been lucky so far in that I haven't been pulled over for a brake light out. And I hope I never get pulled over by Officer Banner. He would ticket his own dead grandmother if it would fill his ticket quota for the month.
