About how much would it cost to fully paint a pontiac sunfire? ballpark figures?..?

Changing the color of a car can triple the price.... Thats because there is 4 times the work involved painting under the trunk lid, door jambs, hood, etc, etc...... What quality work do you want done? A top quality paint job in the same color can be $2000 on up.... A cheap paint job thats decent is about $1200 in the same color..... A color change can be $2000 to $4000..... I changed the color of my chevy from blue to black and did a huge amount of the prep work myself to save money..... I pulled all of the door, hood and trunk gaskets myself.... Then I pulled the inner door panels, headlights, tail lights, emblems, door windows and window gaskets myself.... I then cleaned the jambs of loose rust, dirt and grease. I also wet sanded the door jambs, hood jambs, trunk lid jambs, under the trunk lid, under the hood and all the crevases myself with 600 and then 1000 grit wet sand paper.... Once this was done I got estimates from 3 shops and got one to refinish the outside body and paint the jambs in toyota black for $900.... I had the car towed over there and back...... It took me 2 days to reinstall the gaskets, door panels, lights, grill etc.... I got a $3500 super top quality base coat clear coat paint job because I did a considerable amount of prep work myself.... I took a week off from work and did all this work myself saving me way more than what my job payed me so this was definitely a good deal....

Your best bet is to make a few calls in your area as pricing is dependant on lots of things and No one will be able to give you a close answer for your car and area unless they can see the car and give a proper estemate..
