Okay so the lights on in my car are the ABS light, the Trac light, and the Service light. When the lights first started coming on my car would like vibrate(as if you were slamming on the breaks to hard) 3 times and then the lights would come on, now they are just on constantly. My dad replaced the sensors and all my brakes and such are brand new, but the problem is still there. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be and how much it would cost to fix?

a bad wheel bearing can cause it. have your dad to check the wheel bearings.

There is only one way to diagnose ABS. You need to have the codes read and interpreted. This will tell you what area of the ABS needs to be addressed.

From the description you provided, I would probably inspect the reluctor rings to see if one or more is broken. But again, you need to have the code(s) read and diagnosed.

Scan for codes.
Jack up the car and check all the wheel bearings for play and noise.

The ABS stands for anti lock brake system, the light means that feature is not working properly, it is not something you can fix yourself, however it does not keep your brakes from working, You can check your connections under the hood below the master cylinder. The system is controlled by an electronic control unit (computer) and a pump. What it will cost depends on the part that is malfunctioning. Even a little fluid or oil in the connector can cause you problems, but it will have to be put on a diagnostic computer to see what part is defective.

Were the Rotors as well replaced?? A warped (out of round) Rotor can cause vibration when Braking. CarQuest has the BEST deal for Rotors--Guaranteed use out of the box w/o turning.

IF you do not want to spend a few bucks ($60.00-120.00+) for a OBDII Code Scanner, then have it diagnosed at a local AutoZone or a reliable Shop.
A Haynes Manual specific to the year will have Codes and explanations.
One, as well, can simply remove the Fuse for the ECM with the ENGINE OFF, wait about 15 seconds, replace and turn key on to see if Codes return.

The Wheel (Hub) Bearings are NOT workable like older Vehicles and HAVE TO BE replaced since they're SEALED UNITS.
For some reason, the rear Bearings cost more than the front.

hi i had a 95 windstar with the abs light parkbrake on i changed the wheel cylinder they both went off

Why has nobody even mentioned wheel speed sensor issues?? Check the wiring to the wheel speed sensors, lightly tug at the insulation on the wires and feel for stretching, it is very common for the w.s.s wires to break inside the insulation because of the constant pivoting/bending they are exposed to.

Your problem is an interesting one however, as usually when the abs light is on your abs will not operate until the problem is fixed.
