Where is the fuse for the air conditioner on a 1996 Grand Am? I'm not even sure that's what my problem is, but I want to at least check it. I think the car might have a slow freon leak, but I put a gauge on the low pressure side and it is up to the correct pressure but the compressor won't kick on. The fuse is the only thing I can think of to check. I may try by-passing the compressor relay to see if the compressor will at least kick on. Is there reset switch or something that might be the problem? I would appreciate any ideas.

Thanks...

Your system has high pressure and low pressure
cut-out switches and if your system is low on freon
then it will cut-out the compressor. You can add a
small can of leak detect to your system (it has PAG
Oil and red Dye) so that you may find the leak!
This will most often get the compressor to kick in!
