Ok i have a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT V6. Today i went out and turned the car on, and the lights all came on for a brief 5 seconds or so then they all went out and my "service vehicle soon" light came on. And i mean ALL the interior lights. My climate control lights, dash lights, shifter lights, lights on the window switches. Everything. I have never had this happen before. Ive checked almost every fuse and they are all fine. Last week the light came on and i just had a headlight out but that problem is fixed, i got a new headlight and the light went out. Now all my interior lights are out. Ugh, tried calling pontiac but they are closed until tuesday. Any help please? Thank you.

remove battery teminal. check all fuses replace the ones that are bad. hook battery back up

The check engine light will not come on for this problem. Caeck all fuses, also there is a fuseable link on the starter solinoid.

I have the same problem, and I can't hardly read the stereo led display unless the light and angle is PERFECT. I chekced ALL of the fuses and then only bad one is the accessory cigarette lighter on, and as soon as I put in a new one it popped the fuse, with the ignition off. Soooooooooooooooo, looks like we're in the same boat. Btw mines is a 1999.

Ok, did you know that there is a fuse block on the side of the dash, on the passenger side? That's a total of 3 fuse blocks. Hope this helps, it did me...
