I am trying to help my college daughter by phone. She is replacing alternator in a 2001 grand am w/4 cylinder I think a 2.4 liter. She has minimal tools - wrenches and screwdriver andsays she can't get the last bolt out on the top. She says intake is in the way and a half moon shape on it. Book simply says what the internet does, just remove the bolts, not how to get to them. I am not there and it has been a while since I helped her work on it here. I suggested look from te bottom , or see i something can be moved out of the way. Also maybe borrow a ratchet and a uniwiggle extention. I washoping someone in here has dealth with this before while taking out the alternator. Thank you
