Another New Problem--$#!%

Yeah so i was driving down the road recently and i was looking at my tach and my speedometer and it started flickering, like bouncing, well i said o well maybe a sort or some other headache, then a short time after that i stopped for a stop sign and DEAD the car stalled, started back up fine but now its running rough and the tach and speedo flicker still, i replaced all the wires and plugs so ik its not that but im wondering what could make my tach flicker (SUGGESTIONS???)

I am not real familiar with the 4th gens but if it has a mechanical speedo the cable might be loose. The stalling at the stop sign could be a vacuum leak, and that would explain your rough running. But, if the rough running just started it is unlikely. Another thing it could be is overheating. Hopefully you didn't blow a head gasket. Check your oil on the dipstick and see if it looks like coffee with cream in it.
