• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Long time Pontiac owner, but over the years I have started gravitating towards the Odd Ball Performance Cars, I used to be really into OHC-6 Sprint Cars, I have owned over 20 of them but Currently only have a 69 Sprint Firebird. I also own a 77 Astre Formula, 71 Lemans Safari, 73 Lemans Safari, 78 Sunbird Wagon, 2009 G8 GT, and my Latest Purchase a 1971 Catalina Freeway Enforcer, an ex small town Chambersberg PA Police Chiefs car. That I am hoping to restore back to its in service condition.

I hope to have some useful info to share, but most of my expertise is on the Older Cars.

welcome to the forum

Thanks for the welcome and Kind Words. I have a few Pic's on my HD

The 1st is of my 69 Firebird Sprint, it has a stroked OHC-6 that is now 301 CID a T-5 Five Speed Trans and a 4.10 posi Axle. Fun car to drive, but most people don't understand my need to be alittle different.
The second pic is of my 77 Astre Formula, it was repainted last summer but I haven't had much time to start reassembling it, I am going to put in a Buick 215 Aluminum V-8, T-5 and 4.11 Dana axle. Should be fun.
The last 3 are of my latest Purchase, the 71 Catalina Freeway Enforcer low miles only 35,000 but had not moved under its own power for 30 plus years. It has a 455 4bbl, turbo 400, and a 2.73 open axle. It was the Police Cheifs car of the Town of Chambersberg PA. Retired from service in the late 70's, the 2nd owner added the vinyl top. I hope to restore it back to its inservice condition, but so far I have only found the last picture that shows my car in service taken on 10-20-1971, the very day my wife was born. Hopefully I can get a better picture of the door shield, and find out what type of Radio equipment they used.
When I get back home in a couple of weeks I will post some more and better pic's of the fleet.
