Hello! Waiting on my new seat covers, should be here at the end of the month. (I’ve been waiting almost a year) I currently have the new foam. Is this a difficult process? Any tips? I ordered the stock replacement bucket seat kits from Ames performance.
Any tips on restoring 71 bucket seats?

I wish I had ordered mine a year ago....I hope to do the entire interior of my 71 Lemans Sport Convertible sooner than later. Let us know how it goes. I will let you be my test subject!
Got the covers and they look great. Started with the disassembly of driver seat and found the build out sheet hog ringed to the underside, towards the front. It’s pretty dirty, but think it might clean up. A think it’s interior build sheet? I’ll investigate more. I have a few broken springs, so I’ll try to weld those, then give it a coat of paint. Rusty in spots. I’ve been taking pictures as I go, for reference. I plan on using my passenger seat as a reference also. I’ll let you know how it goes! Also found loose change, old tickets and a little mouse poop
