Anyone out there with a Cadillac 4.9L or SC 3800 Fiero?

I own a 88 fiero with a 4.9 PFI cadillac mated to a 5-speed trans.swap wasnt really that bad at all. speed wise there are a few Vettes and state troopers still wondering "where did that little red car go?!?" for more info go to www.fiero.nl

my little car will pull the front wheels off the ground at take off. will pull ya back in the seat any time ya hit the loud pedal. Will run 120 mph with half pedal in 5th gear. I will not drive it in the rain.
 
Wow! All that with the Caddy 4.9, huh? I can't even imagine what the Northstar would be like. Still, who cares? The 4.9 is all you need...
 
my little one has true duels,no power steering, and no ac from the factory.the only disadvantage to the 4.9 is the lack of aftermarket for this engine compared to the 3800SC. but in stock form the 4.9 is lighter and you get that great V-8 sound. due to the fireing order (18436572) being the same as the SBC and poncho it sounds like any other gm V-8 out there. also I've heard that the 4.9 is a little easyer to install. :D the northstar you have to modify the engine cradle quite a bit. also the comp is a lot harder to hack. there is a guy that does the hack work for the 4.9 that makes a great differance to the performance of this set up.

I put a 3800 Supercharged in mine this spring and cant tell you enough on how great it is. I pick the wheels off the ground allot and the acceleration is as close to a Motorcycle with 4 wheels as you can get. It is a low 12 second car. It will be in the POCI next month and I am now working on putting a Indy together for the wife. Below are some picutres adn a link to the build. North* & More...

How about a 3800SC with Turbos. Or a Turbo'd North*, or a 6 Speed tranny?
The guys at West Coast Fiero www.westcoastfiero.com / forums.westcoastfiero.com are always doing off the wall stuff like this. The one they are working on now, which is a very common swap if you have the money is the 3.4L DOHC Turbo'd motor, with the fuel enhancement computer, and 7th injector, which dyno's right around 400hp. Not to bad of a little conversion.

i had an 86 se with a supercharged 3.8 and it was stupid fast....and now im about to buy an 86 gt.....cant wait for the 2 1300 suzuki hyabusa engine swap!!!
