I have a 2000 montana and have been attempting to replace the auto level suspension air pump or compressor, I can seem to get to work I used a lighted tester to make sure there is power at the main connector had the new used pump tested at a local repair shop and works great, they told me to check the relay that the other connector plugs into so I bought a brand new relay at 35.00 bucks came home plugged it in and still nothing works. any ideas out there:confused:

is the relay getting power?

could also be the level sensor, but like mel said , first you need power and a good ground back there. Fuse good?

Do you have a air outlet in the hatch area to pump up tires and other things ..... If so try to turn that on via the switch right there. This will over ride the level sensor and will tell you the fuse is good and possibly the relay .

thanks for the help, yes There is a place in the back to pump up tires and so forth, I did check the fuse from the beginning of this problem and it is good, would you by chance know where this level sensor is located

Level sensor located under van near the rear attached to the frame and rear axel area . Follow the wiring harness from the compressor.

Thanks for the information, I will check it out tonight after work and let you know what I find!!

Did you ever diagnose your suspension problem. I'm having the same issue. The pump works when I push the button in the back, but doesn't come on for the self leveling feature. I'm wondering if there is a way to test the sensor or if there is something else to check.

Thanks,
Joel

I have not figured it out yet going to put it on and maybe just forget it I am have other electrical issues that I just discovered yesterday and was hoping to get everything running to get ready to sell the thing mainly because we don't drive it anymore
