Awd Disabled

I have pulled the rear fluid and checked it, very clean. Pulled the differential clutch valve, looked clean, and cleaned it anyway. No codes on the scanners. Is the clutch valve just shot and not throwing codes or what is the deal here? Light is on the dash that says AWD DISABLED and thats it. No other ABS lights or anything on. No codes, nothing.
