Hello everyone im new here... I have a 2001 Aztec and have been having trouble starting it. At first it was intermittent now wont start at all. I have got spark and i am putting out about 51 psi fuel pressure. Not sure what could be the problem as i'm also not getting any codes.

the aztek would start in the morning just fine and drive fine as long as i didn't shut the engine off. If i stopped along the way and turned the car off it wouldn't start. i would have to wait 10-15 min and it would start. Now it will not start at all. I have done all the checks i can think of. fuses, fuel pressure, spark, OBD diagnostic. Not sure what else i can try to get this car back on the road for my wife any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also if i spray starting fluid in the breather it will start but dies as soon as i stop spraying. Anyone know how to test the injectors to seee if they are getting a signal to open? Is 50 psi enough to open the injectors?

the pressure doesnt open the injectors they are controlled by the ECM. You can use a test light to see if they are getting a signal. So not check engine light before the failure? Could be a crank shaft sensor.

They make a tester, it's called a noid. Not sure if parts stores rent them out or not.
