I'm having a problem with no backup lights on a 2000 Montana. I checked the neutral safety switch, and appears to be working when I shift the transmission into reverse. When I check the continuity of the wire from the tail light assembly to the fuse box, I have an open circuit - so the wire is broken somewhere. I'm looking for the route of the wire from the fusebox back to the tail light assembly. I checked the bundle that runs along side the passenger side door (I've already spliced two different wires in that bundle), but I do not see the wire for the reverse lights (light green wire). Not wanting to tear the interior apart to find this wire, can someone tell me where this wire bundle is routed to the back of the vehicle?

don't know if this will help but, there is a time where GM produced so junky lamp sockets where they corroded real easy and then didn't make good contact with the bulb and sometimes corroded so bad that the wires in the socket crumbled and needed replaced.

I've heard about bad sockets, but that didn't seem to be the case when I inspected them. I guess I'll wait until the weather warms up a bit here in the midwest and pull the carpet up on the drivers side to see if/what wire harness is running down that side of the vehicle. Thanks.
