Yeah you might be right EaOutlaw however I have never changed springs before. When I look at them they look like they are good but they are kind of bent toward the back. They don't look broken though. I will replace the o-rings later today on the shocks and I'll see where I stand from there. I'll let you know.
Springs are cheap and easy to replace, yet another reason to have a manual, the manual will show you what and where to measure to see if your springs are collapsed.
If your going to keep and work on your ride you should have access to a manual.
I went ahead and replaced the 2 o-rings on the line going into the shock and it still leaks out the back of the connector. The "nipple" of the shock has a then layer of rust where it sits in the connector. Should I sand that off? Also am I supposed to put some silicone grease on the o-rings before I close everything up? That I did not do. Thank you for the help.
