I have a 1970 Lemans I am restoring and I keep running into problems with the front suspension.

Before I got the car someone had put lowering springs and hotchkis upper arms but stock lower A arms.

Long story short when replacing parts nothing that parts houses have for a 70 Lemans fits this car! Brake Calipers, Brake rotors, and Ball joints nothing works.

I have Moog K5103 lower ball joints on it right now and they will not tighten up like they dont fit the spindle taper. And I cant get the cotter pin into the stud.

I dont have any pictures of the spindles/suspension on me right now, does anyone have any information as to what someone could have fitted to the car?

Thanks! I had no idea those control arms used different spindles. But it explains all my problems...

there are two different types of control arms from Hotchkis, those using stock spindles and those using the F/B spindles. Contact them to see if there is a way to determine what you have.
