• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... So, my wife's van is having issues. The security system has been set off. Last week it happened and I was able to get it started (important because most of the van's electronics were not working.)

My Question: How can you isolate an issue to the BCM?

Symtoms: Security light on, ABS light on, Service Traction System light on, no fuel gauge, no tach, no battery gauge, no radio, and no sliding doors.

My Question (Part 2): Are all of these functions controlled by the BCM or is there another possible issue?
