Bcm problems

Is there anywhere one can find a list of typical problems with the BCM, body control module, for the newer Montana vans -2007-2009. Ours has a signal light and brake light failure (not the upper brake light) but both lower brake/signal lights and the power seat when cabin is hot such as when the heater is on high in cold weather or from the heat of summer. I understand there were some problems with this module. Does anyone know where to find the information that details how to identify this as a BCM problem? The Pontiac Montana was sold one-year longer in Canada, so ours is a 2009 for those unfamiliar with this detail.
