Bent wheel..

Hey people ive been chasing a shaking vibration and found out after having new tires balanced that one front wheel is bent .. Was wondering if anybody here might have had aftermarket wheels put on your ride and may have the factory ones still around ? And would part with one , mine are 16x8 the chrome kind .
Please let me know , be nice to get a smoooth ride back .

Have you looked on ebay?
 
Yes they do, at the top of the parts index, there is a space , type in "wheels " and a list will show up, click on " wheel with image" and then they will show you your wheel and select it and it will go to a list of what yards has it starting with the highest price.

I found the lowest price on page #5.

No rim shops around ?
It's not too pricy to have a shop straighten wheels.

Yes there is to my surprise , a mobile unit in the Dallas area does this , 125.00 and they take wheel of car dismout repair and get ya all fixed up .
Not bad really..

They may cut you a break if the rim isn't that bad.
$125 is about right for a mobile repair.

Its way cheaper than some of the used wheels out there and dont even know if those are bent.. I swapped front to rear and car dont shake in frontend anymore but feel the shake in seat at about 60 to 70 mph but nowhere near as bad . one more week and ill have appointment to meet em in denton tx.

I feel your pain.
I also have a bent rim.
Was selling my car, girl test drove it and bent the rim, bent the sway bar link, toasted a new tie rod end & I had to replace the wheel bearing.
To put this into another perspective:
The last 3 cars I have put up for sale, girls have tried to screw me on them all.
2 were in the act of being stolen.
1st girl made a key impression & returned.
2nd girl left her car & keys, my car was stopped almost 2 counties over.
"Her" car was also stolen.
Then #3 wrecked my car in a freakin parking lot.

Im never allowing another girl to test drive any of my vehicles.
It costs too much.

Glad you arent letting anymore testdrives happen ! Wow thats crazy ..
