I've installed new headlights and new 80/100 watt bulbs and also new 37.5 watt fog light bulbs. Any ideas on how to get better light output without going to the HID setup? 2003 Grand Am GT

You have already gone beyond what comes stock with those wattages. You can verify with a volt meter that you are getting full voltage that your alternator puts out at the lights themselves and insure your relay is in good condition.

How are you not driving around projecting suns? I installed new headlights with stock bulbs and its plenty bright. are you headlight aimed properly?

Depending on what sites you go to the 80/100 watt bulbs are labled off road usage only, require a ceramic connector to stock harness, and have a life of 100 to 150 hours compared with 500 for a stock 50/65 watt bulb.

yep, i think they are aimed pretty good. i do need to check voltage and see what is coming to the lights. it may be i'm just not adjusting to the small car so much different than my Z71 and it's lights. Got this one for my 16 year old to drive and just trying to make it as safe as possible.

have you checked with local laws concerning those lights? dont need your kid be stopped for that.
