Blinker lights/turn signals don't work in 2004 Pontiac Grand Am?

Well they kind of work. When I push to turn them on, there is nothing, but if the turn signal stays in either position long enuf, the lights come on. Tried replacing fuses, but the same thing. Please help. Also A/C only runs cold in the 3 temp position, which is real cold...How do I fix it so it can work on 1 and 2? Thanks in advacne.

For the turn signals, it sounds like a continuity problem. Pull the tail lights and clean the contacts. They probably have corrosion on them. Use a wire brush and some steel wool get them shiny again. If your fuses were bad, they would never come on.
