so in the next couple months my 86 se will go under the knife.

im transplanting a 94 3.4 camaro engine into it. i plan on adding a turbo since i have all the equipment at my use. ill be running 6.8lbs from a nissan 300zx turbo. i was wondering if anyone else on here has turboed the 3.4? and what upgrades to the engine(internaly) i should do or shouldnt do.

any info is a help.

oh i will. and thanks. i might go with more boost if i feel the motor will handle it.

The turbo from a 300ZX is kind of small for a 3.4L. Most folks use a slightly larger one. Design1 made a turbo that has worked well on 3.4L engines. Gives about 7psi of boost. If built and setup correctly will get you to around 250hp on a mostly stock engine. With mods to the engine (cam, head work, better intake, etc) you can get about 300hp and around 9-10psi of boost.

the 300zx turbo will work if its from an mid 80s SINGLE turbo. mine is a garret t3. you can buy the rebuild kit from G-Pop Shop.
